Dawson Duck, our Cuddly Buddies® Throw took a trip to Boston, Massachusetts! The duck is the unofficial animal of Boston and is celebrated by the Duck Tours and the Make Way for Ducklings statue in the Public Gardens. Make Way for Ducklings is a children’s picture book by Robert McCloskey about a pair of mallard ducks who raise their babies on the pond in the Garden. Fun fact: the book is the official children’s book of Massachusetts!
Here are some of the fun sights Dawson saw!
Dawson took the green line on the T to get to his favorite city.
Today the tourists on the Boston Duck Tours spotted Dawson walking around the city! Quack quack!
Ducks sure do love water! Here Dawson is cooling off by the fountain outside the Pru.
Dawson loves learning about the history of Boston. His favorite document is the Bill of Rights (bill…get it?). Here he is with the famous George Washington monument in the Boston Public Gardens.
I wonder what the real live ducks thought of Dawson…
Single file please…Dawson thinks he’s one of the bronze duck statues in the Public Gardens!
